I'm confused and don't know what's happening

I'm confused and don't know what's happening

I entered my credit card numbers, but i cancelled because i couldn't verify that i'm a student.

The first time i cancelled was because i didn't know how and was confused on what to do. Second time i cancelled because it said university/college students so i understood it's not for younger ones. So i thought nothing of it, since i cancelled and got nothing that everything's okay? No, i still got 3.49 removed from my account twice so it's confusing. I lost 6 euros and 98 cents, but got nothing for it? What's with that? Can it be solved?

Hey @Confusedteen,

If Spotify is unable to verify your student I.D, you won’t be eligible to claim the student discount. In this instance, any charges will show on your statement as ‘pending’. This means your bank has put a temporary authorization on the funds, but no money has actually been taken.

Once the bank confirms your student I.D failed to verify successfully, the money will reappear on your statement. This can take up to 48 hours, depending on your bank. You can reach out to them for more information about any pending payments.
