I must change my payment date! Help me, please! :)

My Question or Issue

Hello, everyone! Hope you're all in best of health.

Well, I have Spotify Premium for more than 4 years, but now I really must change the issuing date on my Credit Card. I'm aware that to do that I must cancel the Premium and hire it again. However, I've got some doubts regarding the whole procedure:

1. Will I be able to listen offline for the next 30 days after I opt out from Premium?

2. I have Premium Duo. Will my gf be able to listen offline for the next 30 days?

3. Will I lose my playlists or saved songs after I opt out?

4. Will my gf lose her playlists or saved songs?

5. Will any settings be lost on my account or my apps?

Please, in your answer consider that I won't uninstall the app in any device. I shall simply cancel the Premium and then hire it again after 7 days.

By the way, allow me to repost the repetitive suggestion of allowing the change of issuing date without having to cancel the Premium and signing it again, lol. Everyone agree that this should be possible, right?

Thanks for reaching out about this.

If you want to change the date on which the monthly subscription is drawn from your credit card you do need to cancel your current subscription. After you cancel your Premium, your account will revert to free once your prepaid time is over. You can log in your account page, where you'll see on what date your account will go on free. The same applies to the account of your girlfriend. After this you just need to resubscribe on the date you want to be charged in the future. 

Not to worry, you won't lose any playlists, songs or settings. The only thing that will change is that you'll have to hear ads for the period your accounts are on free, and you won't be able to listen to songs offline, since that's a Premium feature.

A pity I won't be able to listen offline, but anyway this is something I really have to do.
