My Question or Issue

A family pays for a family plan, which I have used for more than 2 years, but a few weeks ago Spotify sent a confirmation email for the address. However, I could not confirm because I did not see the email. When I did confirm, they informed me that I was no longer a member of the family group and that I could not join any family plan for 12 months. Now I try to purchase an individual or duo plan and the message is that I am not eligible for those plans. What is happening? How can I access a plan?

Hey @rociosr,

Thanks for coming to the Community.

Assuming that you're currently on the Free plan, you should be able to upgrade to one of the Premium plans at https://spotify.com/premium or https://spotify.com/duo 🙂

If the issue persists, please share a screenshot of the error message you're seeing.

I am getting the same and and when I click the above link I get this message

We noticed you’re already subscribed to a Premium plan through Google Play. To get this offer, open the Spotify app on your phone and select the Premium plan you prefer.

When I try via phone same error where I am not eligible to upgrade to premium paid plan

Hey @aziz0731,

Thanks for reaching out!

Are you trying to change your plan or are you not able to see your Premium features? If you're getting this message, then it means you have a Premium subscription and are paying for it through Google Play. If you wish to change it, you can do so from the Spotify app > Settings > Premium plan > See available plans. This is only if you wish to continue using Google Play as your payment method.

If you want to use a different payment method, you'll have to cancel your current subscription here or by following the steps in this article and re-subscribe with a different one.

Hope this clears things up.
