My Question or Issue

A couple months ago i cancelled my spotify premium subscription meaning i would be able to subscribe to the 3 months for £9.99 plan. Everything went fine with putting my card details in, however when i needed to confirm my checkout it told me that it would send a digit code to my phone number to confirm my payment. When looking at the phone number it’s being sent to, i realise it is not mine, i’ve been given no option to change the phone number or have it sent to my email address instead. I’ve repeatedly tried to re enter my card details and so but i keep getting this same phone number, i don’t recognise this number and so i have no way to confirm payment, the offer ends tomorrow on the 19th and i would like to get this subscription for my upcoming holiday. Please can someone help me

Hey @daphne10,

 

The phone number should be linked to your payment method (the card).
It can only be changed/verified by your card issuer.
Tip: You could also try with another payment method. Here you can find more on how to pay for a subscription and also some troubleshooting tips for failed payments.
