Instructions for changing countries doesn't work

The instructions for changing countries says to select the register option from the left menu. I have searched everywhere on the website to my knowledge and cannot find a register option anywhere. I'm trying to change my subscription from the US to Thailand where I now live.

Hey @mlaust10,

 

You should have no issues updating your country setting by following this guide: https://support.spotify.com/account_payment_help/account_help/how-can-i-change-my-country-setting/.

 

It doesn't mention anything about a register option from the left menu. 🙂

The verbage that I referenced was Spotify Thailand with the English setting. When I change my country to the US, it does indeed not mention "register in the left menu." However, I have tried twice to change my payment method to my Thai credit card and it gives me an error message. So I am still having trouble. Any suggestions?

Please let me know the exact error message, thanks 🙂

"An error occurred. Try again or ask for help."

That's odd.

Can you post a screenshot of the page where you see this error message?

Make sure that no sensitive info is visible in the image.
