Is it possible to take the 3 months offer with debit card?

Hi, i'm from México, i had premium like one year ago, but today i saw an offer: 3 months for $99mxn, i took it, but i have a question, the only payment option was credit card, but i only have debit card (visa), i fill the form with the data of my card and it was accepted, spotify app says premium now, and in my account the money was charged, until there, no problem at all, but i don't understand how was it possible to pay if my card is not a credit card, or it was a normal payment and the next month i have to pay again (like if the offer was not taken). (sorry for bad english)
