Issues with Premium while switching devices.

I got a new phone a few weeks ago. When I went to set up my Spotify on the new device, I logged in to my account as usual, but once I was in I saw a vast majority of my songs were gone from my list, and I had been relegated back to the basic subscription. When I tried to get my premium back, it took me to the free trial page. So I signed up thinking it would restart my premium after another 30 days. However, about 14 days in it is now telling me my trial is up and needs my payment info again, but it still just keeps sending me to the trial sign-up page. I don't want to be charged twice a month for this, but I'm not sure how I can actually contact Spotify and get my original subscription reinstated.

That's odd. It sounds like you may have created a duplicate account when you logged in the first time since your songs are also missing. You should take this survey that can help point you out in the right direction. Keep in mind to cancel your subscription in your newer account if you connect to the original one with Premium to avoid paying for two accounts 🙂

It sounds like you may have logged into the wrong Spotify account.

Thanks for the tip, but that doesn't seem to be the problem; it confirmed that this is the only account I have. Still not sure what is going on.
