Hi

My wife and I both have individual premiunim packages. How do we change to the family package which not only would be cheaper but allow 3 other devices ? Does one of us have to cancel our subscription and then add to the family package or is there another way ?

Can I start or join a Premium for Family subscription if I'm already Premium?

Yes! When you upgrade your subscription from regular Premium to Premium for Family, your next payment will automatically convert to the new Premium for Family rate. If you accept a Premium for Family invite, you're added to the subscription straight away. You won't be charged for your account any further. Your future payments are handled by the Premium for Family administrator. Any Premium time you have remaining will resume if you leave Premium for Family.

The way Spotify Family works is that each person creates their own Spotify account first if they do not already have one. For everyone to create a Spotify account they will need their own email address.


Once everyone has their own Spotify account you then invite them to join your family plan and then they sign in with that account in the app. Make sure everyone enters the same home address when it asks for verification.
