Klarna claiming a payment after changing the Spotify payment method to direct debit

Solved!

Klarna claiming a payment after changing the Spotify payment method to direct debit

Plan

Premium Duo

Country

Germany

My Question or Issue

Dear Spotify staff, I need someone to contact me. I changed the Spotify payment method from Klarna to direct debit in December 2022. Now Klarna is claiming me back the January invoice, which is already paid by my bank.
I have contacted Klarna and they told me to contact Spotify because in theory, Spotify needs to cancel that payment (?).

I have some more information but I need an agent to contact me. Tried with the messaging contact but the bot is completely broken and no human agents are attending.

Thanks.

Hey @kindgott1334,

As much as we would love to help you out with this, we don't have accesses to your accounts from the Community.
What I'd suggest is trying to reach out to our support folks one more time via this page.
Tip: Have your payment details ready, as they will most likely be required.

In the case where you get greeted by a bot, reply to the questions asked and wait a bit, an agent will be with you shortly after that 🙂
Hope all goes well!
