Merging or mirroring accounts

I listened to Spotify Free for years using my old iPhone 5 like an iPod cradled in a Bose speaker. Now I have Premium on a MacBook Pro I’d like to add it to my iPhone 11 but can’t seem to replace the free version that migrated to my phone when I switched sims. How can I share Premium to my phone?

If your Spotify account is on Premium, you should be able to access Premium on any device you use. Could you try logging out of Spotify on the iPhone 11 > reinstall the app following these steps > log back in?

Thanks mate. Tried that. After I’d downloaded Spotify I opened it but it still recognises my old free profile. Not possible to login to Premium from here.

Hey @11135001990,

Thanks for checking! Can you let me know what your account status says here? If it says Premium, can you make sure that you are not logged into the wrong account? You can check by seeing what the username is on your device that has Premium (by going to Settings (gear icon) on the Home page of the app > Account). Then, check on the new device and see if the usernames match. 

If they do not match, you can always reset your password for the Premium account here if you do not remember it so you can log back in.
