Money deducted from my bank account but Spotify premium is not activated

Money deducted from my bank account but Spotify premium is not activated

This thing happened to me today. I subscribed to the student discount option and money was debited from my account(UPI) and my Spotify premium isn't activated....I checked my account status and it is showing me as a free user...!!!

Please refund my money or activate the premium..!!!

Thanks for reaching out about this in the Community.

 

It'd be good if you'd follow the relevant steps featured in this support site article to see if you can find and access your Premium or clarify the situation with your payment method provider. 

 

I'd also be good to get in touch with SheerID since they should be able to tell you more regarding your Premium Student eligibility verification process (whose completion is required to activate the subscription).
