Move to another country; change payment details

I have movedc to a new country and wish to update my payment details and my premium subscription. Following the instructions tells me to Update my payment details with my new card and then Spotify will prompt me to change countries; wrong. it doesn't. it just complains that the new card is not valid for this country and i should change my country. It's a vicious circle. 

How do you change country? How do you change payment details?

Welcome to the community!

I'd suggest that you cancel your subscription, wait until your account has reverted to the Free plan, then update your country using the dropdown list and then re-subscribe to Premium using your new payment details.

Thanks for the reply.

If you do this, only the music downloaded for offline listening would have to be synchronized again, but you can be 100% sure, that your library won't be affected in any way. Your music is safe!
