New phone causing issues...

I've had Spotify for over a year now with no issues. I had it on my MacBook since January and it's worked fine. I have it (currently) on my iPad since three weeks ago and it's working fine. However, when I switched from. Samsung Galaxy to an iPhone on Friday, it won't allow me to connect to my premium account. It told me to log in with Facebook when I tried to login. After many failed attempts and messing with Facebook, the iPhone app thinks I'm a new user and has me on a premium trial. Meanwhile, my iPad app is working great, but whenever I try to use the username from the iPad account on my iPhone or web browser, it won't work. Please help!

Let's try to figure this out. Can you follow these steps for us?

 

  • Check your subscription page. Your status should be Premium.
  • If you're on Premium, try signing out and back into the app.
  • If it says Free, check the receipt we send to your email inbox. Make sure you're signing in with the username on that receipt. If the username on your receipt is a 10 digit number, please sign in with your Facebook login details.
