New user - can't get Google Home mini offer because of 30-day trial

My Question or Issue

I'd like to get the Google Home Mini offer (in Canada), but when I signed up for Premium, I was put on a 30-day trial. I've tried to find a way to pay, but there doesn't seem to be any. My trial doesn't end until May 27, but the promotion is over by then. What should I do? It seems odd that Spotify would make this offer to new users as of April 9 in Canada, but then prevent us from taking advantage of it with this trial period. Can I buy a gift card and redeem it, or would that not work either? Thanks.

This offer has now ended in Canada. I’d recommend keeping an eye on Spotify.com for future deals and promotional offers.
