My Question or Issue

 

Hello, when I try to start the 1 month free trial with PayPal I always get this error:

 

"Please go back to the merchant and choose another way to pay". The PayPal account is new and never been used to subscribe to Spotify premium and the credit card is also new and never used in Spotify. Tried with another browsers, tried in incognito and also tried to clear all cookies and cache and still no success. Also the country in my Spotify account is the same as my country in my PayPal account. Please help me, thanks.

Thanks for reaching out.

 

I recommend reaching out to the issuer of your credit card and asking them if there's anything preventing the transaction from completing successfully. Some cards don't allow international recurring payments, for example.

 

If the bank confirms that your card should work, you can try using it directly instead of going through PayPal.

 

Alternatively, if the PayPal issue persists, you can reach out to their customer service so that they can take a look.
