My Question or Issue

I confirmed my account the 8 of May, and I created my account just to use my Spotify's Game Pass Ultimate perk. It wouldn't work because I forgot I did not have any money in my bank account, so I tried later when I had money on my account, and then started receiving the "not elegible" message because the system has as a fact that I already took advantage of this trial even though I created my account days ago and I have never had a Free Premium Trial, also I had not ever before used my payment method to pay for anything Spotify related. I already have a post here saying these things, and I already talked to Xbox's Customer Support twice and Spotify's support like more than one time I think; Spotify's support ultimately told me that my case had already been elevated for the technicians to check but I never received any email from then and to this day I can't redeem my perk.

Final questions

The problem has to be that the system already marked my payment method for that failed try of redeeming my promotion, and so I HAVE TO use another one? Or do I have to create another account and use another payment method so that the system won't flag me for already having tried to redeem this thing?

Thanks for coming to the Spotify Community.

 

Maybe it could be a family member who used your payment method to pay for Spotify in the past? I'd recommend waiting for Support to get back to you, if they've said they escalated your case.

 

In the meantime, you can try to subscribe with a different payment method to claim the offer 🙂
