Paid £10 for spotify when on student discount

Spotify took £10 rather than £5 out of my account when i had student discount registered on the account. I still qualify for the discount and i'm wondering why there was this problem with my subscription

What about the receipts, are they correct? How long have you been using this offer?

Yes i had to redo my student discount after i noticed i had been charged. What i'm confused about is that the money was taken out of an account with less than £10 in it leaving it in the negatives. It charged my card after i had an email saying i needed to change my payment option otherwise the premium account would be cancelled.
