Paid for Premium 6 times but wasn´t upgraded

Paid for Premium 6 times but wasn´t upgraded

I tried to pay for Premium (Sweden, 9 SEK for 3 months) and paid 6 times as I didn´t get any conformation nor did I get upgraded. I tried both direct via my VISA card and through PayPal. I see the transactions in my bank account but I´m still just a "Spotify Free member". I tried to log out and in again but that didn´t help.

 

What to do and how to get my money back? I still want the offer for the Premium account but want my money for the 5 other transactions back.

 

Please get back to me as soon as possible.

Did you get an email receipt from Spotify for your subscription purchase?
 

In it, it shows the Spotify username you paid for:

 

Username/ID:        xxxxxxx

Logout of the app, and be sure to use it, instead of your email address, to login to your account. It's the one with the Premium features.

 

If you didn't get any email receipt, sometimes the amount gets 'on hold' even if the charge doesn't go through. Normally the amount gets back to your bank account a day or two later.

Don't worry!, if you didn't recieve a receipt for your suscription from Spotify it means that the charges to your accounts are only pending charges, so it must disappear shortly. As you tried a lot of times to suscribe you was charged multiple times.

If you can't suscribe, try verifying if your card does not have some type of restriction, communicating directly with your banking provider.

Thanks. No, I didn´t get an e-mail receipt and there´s nothing wrong with my VISA card. I also tried via Paypal but that didn´t work either. Perhaps I won´t be charged but I still want to register for the offer on the Premium account. I don´t have any other bank cards to try, it´s not about my bank or VISA card as I use that card for many other purchases online.

 

 

Thanks. My bank account or VISA card has no restrictions to be able to pay for such things as an account for Spotify. I also use that same card for many other purchases online so there must be some other thing that made it not possible to register for the Premium account offer. What more could be done to solve this?

You should try with a different browser, or open a private window (incognito mode), and see if that does it.
 
Also, try in a different device (computer, tablet, etc.)

Thanks. That didn´t solve the problem. I tried to register for Spotify Premium in Google Chrome instead, nothing happens. I fill out the form with my bank card information, click the button "Get spotify premium", I sign the payment and then I just get back to the form. No receipt nor an error message. I don´t have the Spotify Premium account if I log on to Spotify on my mobile.

That's really weird. Be sure to use a private window (incognito mode), or try in a different device (computer, tablet, etc.).
