My Question or Issue

Hi all. I signed up for a free trial of Spotify premium before I decided to start paying for it. I have paid for a few months now before I noticed that my bank statements were quoting £9.99 instead of the student rate at £4.99. I seem to remember signing up for a longer trial because of being a student (?) so I assumed the student rate has carried over. Now I clicked two buttons and changed to the reduced rate which was super easy. However, that means that I have accidentally overpaid for 5 or so months of premium. I have recieved no emails detailing my billing or anything like that, which is why it took so long for me to figure out that I was overpaying. Do you think I can request some credit or a voucher if I provide some proof that I've been a student the whole time (continuously since 2012, actually)?

I'd recommend checking under 'Overcharged for the student discount?' section here. From there, you'll find steps to contact Support and get your issue resolved.
