Paying for Premium with Paypal

My trial period ended today, and I want to upgrade to premium. My only payment option is PayPal, but it just won't let me. My country is US on both accounts, and I've tried to pay in a desktop incognito window but that won't work either.

Please provide a little bit more info about your issue. What exactly happens when you try to pay for Premium using PayPal?

I'm sent to an error page that just says my transaction wasn't able to be completed. The only option on the page is a button that says "return to merchant" ("return to seller" on mobile)

Are you able to post a screenshot of the error message?

I've tried it on desktop and in an incognito window, same issue
