Paying via phone bill

Hi,

so ive had premium for about a year now, and always paid through my phone bill, which was really useful for me. I've just become a student though and so applied for the student premium at half price, which went through fine, but now I only have the option of paying by card. Is there any way around this?

Here's someone with the same issue and a solution https://community.spotify.com/t5/Accounts/Changing-account-payment-to-phone-bill-on-student-account/... you will have to go to free account and call your cell provider.

Thanks for trying. I don't know if that only works in the states, but I called o2 (UK), and they said it was nothing to do with them. It was down to Spotify.

TBH I don't understand why it is so difficult, when you can simply change it in your account, when you have full premium.

Hey @Valleyslad, welcome to the Spotify Commuity!

Unfortunately this payment method is available only for regular Premium, excluding trials if eligible.
