Payment failed / different country

Payment failed / different country

I live in Norway and have premium, and my creditcard got replaced a week before I went to Brazil. When I try to update my card information it only says "Payment failed",

I have contacted my bank and there is no geo restricton with the card.

So I was thinking, that maybe spotify wants a Brazilian card because I am in Brazil? 

It's still 6 more week before I go back to Norway.

Please help me so I don't lose my music ..

I guess you're Brazillian but since I'm not sure I'll reply in English 🙂

 

You're correct - your payment method must be from the same country as the one you're in.

 

I guess you could print a "boleto" in order to use Premium during your remaining time in Brazil. Is that option available to you?

How would this boleto thing work?

Problem solved! 

 

I just sent the link to my mother in Norway and gave her my card info.

That way it got registered as a Norwegian card in Norway.
