Payment in other currencies

My Question or Issue

I've recently subscribed for Premium and as the first free month has ended, I received a message that the payment failed for some reason. Then I went to my bank and enabled payments for services on the internet but one question is still bothering me and I can't seem to find an answer to it.

The card I registered only operates with RON (Romanian Leu) and if I understood it correctly, I can't make payments with it in other currencies. Therefore my question is: does Spotify convert the amount of €4.99 into RON or does it only accept payments in EUR or USD?

Currencies are taken according to country that was set and the payment method.
