Payment not possible using iTunes

Hey everyone,

I have a huge problem and need help! So my subscription to Spotify premium ended a week ago and before that I always paid the subscription via iTunes. So after it ended because I didn't have enough credit, I bought some new iTunes gift cards and transferred it to my Account. But after I did that, I realised I am not able anymore to pay via iTunes anymore, but I did NOT get an e-mail or a note of any kind from spotify that informed me about the changes. I can not get the money I transferred to my iTunes account back. Does anyone know if there is a way to still pay via iTunes or get in contact with Spotify in another way than the community? I already filled in a form to get in contact per e-mail but all I got was the order to ask the community.

I'm looking forward to replies that will hopefully help me!

Hey @annalooove,

 

Up until some time last year, it was possible to subscribe to Premium via iTunes. But doing so required an additional charge on top of the standard rate. So, Spotify decided to cut out the middleman by discontinuing iTunes subscriptions.

 

The good news is you can enjoy Premium for less, and it’s super easy! Just head to http://spoti.fi/2dXPfzf and upgrade to Premium. 🙂
