Payment subscription keeps declining

I've been trying to pay for my Spotify, but it keeps declining my payment method. I've payed for this.  before, and it worked, but now it keeps declining, even though I have money on my American Express. P. S: I've logged out of my account and logged back in, and that doesn't seem to work either.

Are you using a prepaid? Although I am not 142% sure about this, I believe Spotify doesn't accept some forms of prepaid/reloadable cards.  I did the same thing, it wouldn't allow me to do it on a prepaid, reloadable visa.  However, it allowed me to do it on a normal debit card.
