Payment with India issued card

I am an Indian who typically works out of India. I also subscribe regularly to premium in the past.

In my current location, Spotify is available but I still dont have a local means of payment. So, when I try to use my India card, Spotify is not accepting my payment.

I am not asking for a "Desi" (Indian) Spotify (God forbid). I am not asking to use Spotify in India. All I am asking is to allow me to pay you with an Indian credit card.

Spotify does not allow that! I'm saying "take my money" and you are saying "No!". WHY!?

You always need a payment method that has been issued in the country that has been set in your account 🙂 I personally doubt that this will be changing anytime soon, due to licensing reasons.

Thank you. But it is strange - Business 101 says make it easy for your customers to do business... Are there any other ways to pay except a card?

If the payment page is only showing Credit Card as a payment method, then there's, unfortunately, no other payment method currently available.
