Plan increased, NO notification, no means of refund, terrible support

Plan increased, NO notification, no means of refund, terrible support

The price of my plan this month has increased yet again by £2 to £19.99 without any notification. I have searched through my emails and at no point have I been notified of a price increase.

When going through the help/support pages there seems to be no way to contact Spotify, no way to get a refund. My plan price has increased £5 in the last 12 months. Serriously not worth this much.
Is there any way to contact Spotify and complain or do you just have to suck it up and rant on here?

Hi, @tims31
Welcome to the Spotify Community, and thanks for reaching out to us!

The notification about this change was sent between March and April, depending on your billing date. Maybe it was lost in the Spam tab of your inbox. Just to make sure everything is correct on your side, I recommend you double-check if your associated email address is up-to-date.

For more information about the price change, you can take a look at this support article.

Getting the opportunity, just for your information, the Premium Basic plan which doesn’t include free audiobook listening time comes at a reduced price and via this page, you can change your plan if you want to.

Last but not least, you can contact the Customer Support team anytime through this page.

Stay awesome!

If you have further questions or if you need anything else, let me know! I'd love to help!

I checked my spam folder thoroughly and keep an eye on my inbox regularly. They just failed on their part to send out the notification of price change to all of their customers which is incredibly shady and terrible a business practice.
