Playlist Downloads do not appear under song downloads?

So instead of downloading a ton of songs individually or albums, I usually search a genre and download a large playlist with a mix of all the good songs...I do this so I can shuffle through everything and not have all the other stuff I don't like or need. The issue is that after I download or "save" a playlist, that music does not appear under the "songs" tab. I want to be able to shuffle all those songs in the multiple playlist at once but those songs downloaded in the playlist do not appear in the songs section for me to shuffle. It gives me the option to again save individual songs within the playlist but it also says they are already downloaded. Why aren't all the downloaded songs in the playlist, also available under the "songs" tab that has all my music?
