Playlists cannot be added to

I had to create a new premium Spotify account, since I originally set it up using Facebook, and want to be able to use it on other devices. I transferred my playlists, and now when I try to add a song to them, they do not come up. I see them listed, but am not given the option of adding to them. Please help!

Hi @ricknpatti, welcome to the Spotify Community!

 

Just to make it clear, even when we set up an account through FB, we can use it with any device. 

 

Anyway, how did you transfer the playlists?

 

Only the playlist creator can add songs to it (unless it's a collaborative one). So if you're not able to add songs, you might have just followed the playlist with your new account. You should then create a new empty playlist and copy all songs (from the old playlist) to it.

Thanks for your response. I was able to make my playlists collaborative,
which solved the issue. When I went to put Spotify on my firestick in order
to play on my Bose system, it required a password, and there was no option
to sign in with Facebook. My " trial" was not up until September, but I had
to create a new Spotify account using a username and password. Thanks again
for your reply! Love Spotify!
