My Question or Issue

Greetings!
I currently have a premium duo plan with my daughter, and I'd like to upgrade to the Family Plan to add my son and husband. Will that upset the playlists/collections that my daughter and I have acquired if I upgrade to the family plan?
What is the best method for upgrading to make sure we keep our playlists/podcasts as they are?

Thanks for reaching out.

Changing plans will not affect any of your saved music, playlists, etc. since Free users can also access those features and such personalized content isn't bound to the subscription.

You should be able to change plans at https://www.spotify.com/account/manage-your-plan/.
