Premium Failed to Activate?

I have been paying for Spotify Premium for nearly a year now. For my birthday I got a 3-month Spotify gift card. I activated it on my account and I stopped paying the subscription fee assuming that I had three months. Now my premium account is deactivated and I have no way to redeem my 3 months.
