Premium account changed into free account

Premium account changed into free account

I have been paying for preimuim for at least three years, but it suddently changed into a free account and although it seems like my account with my playlists and my login it states that it's my mom's account, with her name and picture in the corner. I logged in to my account on her iPad recently. 

I have logged out and in. Reinstalled spotify. And my no other device is using my account. 

 

Please help me. Thank you!

It sounds like your account has become tied to your mum's Facebook account, do you normally log in using a Spotify username and password or Facebook? 

 

That shouldn't have altered your premium though, what does your subscription status on your online overview say and can you see receipts on that account?

I log in using my username and password, I've changed password, and still no go. Not any different using my facebook login

 

It says that I have an Premium subscription and the money has been drawn from my account. Can i just somehow change my account to another one and still keep all of my playlist, followers and so on...? Or is that the best solution 

Weird so you log in using your username and password and it gives you your mum's free account with her details and playlists? Or is it your account just with her name?

It recently changed so my account (or hers) is a premium account. It's my account, with my playlist and so on, except my mom's name and photo. 

 

It sounds like you just need to disconnect from her Facebook. In the desktop client go to Edit > Preferences > Social Network > Disconnect from Facebook and then reconnect with your own Facebook. Does that fix it?

I monthly pay about 99 danish krones for being a premium member on spotify. But suddenly it has change, and I can't tell why.  I have tried to reinstall spotify and loging in and out lots of times - but nothing seems to solve the issue.

 

Can anybody please help my solve this mystery? 

Is your account showing as premium on your online overview?

Hi!

 

I got the same problem as many others seem to have.

I was logged out from spotify and when I tried to log in again it tells me that I am a free user with no playlist and so on.

(Logged in with my facebook login)

 

What to do then?

My facebook account is <snip>@hotmail.com

 

Need help, have contacted spotify but no response.......

Just going to hide that email address to stop you from getting any spam. 😉

 

When you get in touch with support, if you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.

Hi.

 

I have been sending the support 4-5 emails but no response.


But I have found my original spotify account through finding people who followed me.

My real spotify account number is : 117136379


But what can I do with that? My password is not the same and I cant request a new.....

@user-removed - Have you replied to the automated email message from support?
