Premium and country

Hi!

I have a consecant problem. The country of my free Spotify account is Switzerland. I want to re-subscribe to a Premium account, but the person who pays for me is in France. If this person pays the account from France with a Swiss credit card, will the country of my account change?

Welcome to the community!

The country of your payment method must match the one in your Spotify profile so that Spotify can verify your location.

So if the person who subscribes to the Premium plan for you is in France, then yes I guess your country will be changed.

You'll be able to use it in Switzerland though. No problem about that!

Well, if you're in a country and try to pay with a card from another country, I'm afraid you won't succeed. The payment method must be from the country you're in.
