My Question or Issue

 

Hi,

I just ended my yearly Premium subscription on 31.12.2018. In my profile until yesterday, there was an information that I will be charged on 31.12.2018 for next Premium period (monthly I suppose). Instead of this, my subscription ended, I have now Spotify free version with the following possibilities to go Premium:

- Premium yearly subscription

- Premium Family monthly subscription

- Premium for students (I'm not eligible)

 

Is it possible to get Premium monthly subscripion like before (before I signed up for yearly) and like any other new user?

Thanks for reaching out.

 

I'd recommend trying the steps listed in the support article that can be found here. If none of them helps, please try it in a different browser/incognito window.

 

If that also doesn't help, please send me a screenshot of the different options you're seeing.

Hi @Maxim, thank you for quick answer. 

I tried the following:

1. Log out and back into your account (web, facebook login)

2. Logging in in the different browser (I was not logged in there either in facebook or Spotify)

3. Logging in using incognito mode in current browser (web, facebook login)

 

Al this lead to the same result with the following subscriptions available:

- Premium yearly subscription

- Premium Family monthly subscription

- Premium for students (I'm not eligible)

 

WITHOUT Premium monthly subscription. When I click "Go Premium" I got message "You are not eligible for this offer" with Family premium selected. After clicking Change plan I got the plans as above. Please see the attachments.

Can you try subscribing while connected to a different internet connection?

 

You can also try opening an incognito window, logging in to your Spotify account and then heading here to upgrade (you should be able to paste the link in an incognito window tab instead of clicking it here directly).

thank you for your reply and new tips. I did the following steps:

1. Connected to different internet connection

2. Opened incognito window of a browser

3. Went to spotify.com webpage (user not logged in) 

4. Logged in via facebook 

5. Pasted the link you provided

I still see only Premium Family monthly, Premium yearly and Student plans - see attachments.

I contacted support and it seems to be a tough case - we went through all your suggestions and came up with 1 month premium administratively added to my account - it should be prolonged for monthly on 5.02. Let's see how it goes. 

No this case is to be suspended.
