My Question or Issue

Hi,

 

As of this morning while I was cycling to my work I suddenly got commercials again. Somehow Spotify reverted my account from Premium to Free as of this morning with no notice whatsoever and no reason whatsoever? I have had a Premium account for a couple of years now with automatic renewal via Automatic bank transfer. 

 

Can you guys explain to me what happened? You suddenly stopped charging my account and changed it back to free, while I have not cancelled my subscription? 

 

And how to solve it? Because the last thing I want is to have to have an accidental double subscription because of a potential hickup.

Thanks for searching for the answer you need here! 
 

Keep in mind sometimes automatic bank transfer payments can be unsuccessful on the provider's side. In such a case your subscription might be stopped without you having cancelled it. 

 

This may happen due to various reasons you can check by getting in touch with your bank. To check if the payment was successfully received by Spotify, have a look at your receipts.
