Problem with Paypal

Problem with Paypal

Sorry to post here but I want to resolve a problem with SPOTIFY but cannot find anyway to post a simple question. Any advice here would be greatly apreciated.

Background is that payment was via PAYPAL not another provider. My PAYPAL account is in a different country. Ever tried to change a PAYPAL account country? Don't bother cannot be done. I cannot change my Spotify account payment because it is linked to the other country. I cannot change my SPOTIFY location because it is linked to my payment. If I have to cancel my subscription I will not renew it. SPOTIFY you have a chance to contact me to resolve this or loose a customer. You choose.

To avoid issues with your subscription, your PayPal and Spotify need to be set in the same country. 

 

Your best bet would be to reach out to PayPal so they can help you with changing the country setting on your account.

Many thanks for that David, but really have no idea where, who, or how to contact Spotify. No email address and a conversation with someone with one of those pop up screen things ended with “ would you like us to send you a copy of this conversation by email?” to which I replied yes please and heard nothing more. I think they are choosing to loose me as a customer.

We're sorry you feel this way. If you'd like to continue to use PayPal for your subscription, we'd recommend reaching out to PayPal for advise on how to update your country. 

 

If you have a different payment that's linked to the country you're currently in, then we'd recommend using that instead to save any trouble.
