Problem with gift card

Hello, I have a problem with my payment. I'd been using spotify premium for 3 months for which I'd paid 99 cents. After 3 months it should have, obviously, ended but it hasn't even though i haven't paid anything for it because there was no money left on my card. After few days i got an e-mail, that i should either pay 6€ or my premium's gonna end. I was like, OK, i don't mind. But then my friend bought a 3 months gift card for my birthday and updated my account to premium. So i thought everything's gonna be fine but it's not because i still can't get into my account.
Can anybody help me? Thank you.
