My Question or Issue

I began my free trial with spotify in January of this year. I enjoyed it enough and decided to keep it and paid the $9.99 for the premium amount. However, this past week, I learned that Spotify offers students a 50% discount for the same service and as I'm a student, I made the mental note to make the switch before my next bill cycle. With the chaos of this week, I wasn't able to do it until today, but my subscription was renewed yesterday. So I've been charged another $9.99 for the month. Could I be issued a refund of the full amount and then charged the student amount, or refunded the difference between the two?

P.S. Yes, my student legitimacy has been verified.
