Samsung and 6 Months Free Premium Issues

Samsung and 6 Months Free Premium Issues

I just got a new phone which came with 6 months of free Spotify Premium, my order confirmation email said "Open and log in to Spotify app on your new device. Select 'Premium' tab on the bottom to redeem." However, when I open Spotify I was already logged into my account which has Premium already so there is no 'Premium' tab to click. I was not given a code to redeem nor do I see any way to verify that 6 months of free premium was added to my account

How can i verify that I actually have the Free 6months added to my account?

Hey @zsparkman, thanks for reaching out to the Community!

 

You mentioned your account already has an active Premium subscription. This offer is only for users who haven't subscribed to Premium in the past (or have a current subscription), which explains why you're unable to redeem this offer.

 

There is some more info about this in the Terms and Conditions of the offer here.
