Song won’t play. Even if I download the list, certain songs just won’t play

I have tried removing songs. Updating phone and Spotify. This has been going on for months. The song shows up but it will not play.

Thanks for posting in the Community.

Do you mean local files on your devices or songs from the Spotify catalogue? Are the songs greyed out in comparison to other songs or look normal? A screenshot would be nice here, together with some device setup information as brand/model and operating system.

In the meantime in order to exclude the most common issues, could you perform a clean reinstall on your devices as described here?
