Spotify Cancelled my Premium Account during 20 days of Vacation out of my original country

I am an user of premium services since long time ago... This year I madera a trip to Europe longer than usual, it was for 20 days of vacation leaving and Spotify suddenly cancelled my premium account. Today I am traveling back to my country and I will not be able to listen to music during my flight because of this cancellation. So my questions are:

1. What will happen with the payment I made for this full month if you cancelled my account? I should have a reimbursment.

2. How the **bleep** can you imagine vacations for 14 days even if your customer is premium? I already readed all your terms and conditions and it says that we can use the account during 14 days without notifying the New country, but the thing is I WAS NOT a free account user, I was premium and I lost my premium access.

Hey there, @Loremejiar ,

Thanks for coming to the Spotify Community.

It's possible that Spotify tried charging you, but failed to do so, so your account reverted back to Free. Keep in mind that if a monthly payment fails, you don't immediately lose your Premium. They usually try to retake the payment over the next few days and also inform you via email, when a payment fails.

Make sure your payment method has sufficient funds and is:

  • Registered in the same country as your Spotify account.
  • Not expired or canceled.
  • Enabled for foreign, secure online, and recurring purchases. Look for these settings in your bank’s mobile app.

Also, make sure your bank or payment provider has your correct details. They may need to verify your identity for security, e.g. with a password, PIN, fingerprint, or code sent to your device.

You'll be able to subscribe to Premium again as soon as you're back in your home country.

Let me know if you have any other questions. 🙂
