Spotify Charging to my credit card without having my credit card

Spotify Charging to my credit card without having my credit card

Hey Spotify, stop charging my credit card. I eliminated it from my Spotify account a month ago because I don't want to pay for Spotify anymore. Still, I got a message from my bank today saying you tried to charge for your services. What the **bleep**...

Then I go to support and there is no link to chat or talk to someone about this. Not even a link to write an email support ticket. Did you outsource your customer management to some of those weird Indian scam companies or what?

These are lowly practices made by scam sites.

If this goes on I'll make sure to press on these matters. How sad to see a great service like Spotify throw itself down the drain with this toxic customer support.

Hey, @Cococette
Welcome to the Spotify Community, and thanks for reaching out to us!

I am super sorry for this experience you are having because this is not what Spotify expects to be experienced by its customers...

You said you already canceled your subscription, but even after that, you got a charging notification. In this case, as a first step, I recommend that you double-check your account page to confirm if your subscription was canceled.

You can also take a look at the receipts page, to see your order history. Last, but not least, check here if your payment details are still saved on your Spotify account and even delete them, if you want to.

It is worth mentioning that if another account has your credit card as a payment method for that, maybe you are being charged by this other account and not for yours. So, make sure it is not the case too.

After checking this all, if the issue persists or if you have any other questions, do not hesitate to give us a shout. We are here to help, always. 🙂

Stay awesome!

Regards,
Luan 🇧🇷
