Spotify Duo and Sonos

Me and my girlfriend have bought Spotify Duo recently. My girlfriend is the plan manager and I'm the plan member.

 

When I'm playing music through Sonos, I have to do it through an external Spotify app, instead of doing it directly through Sonos. My girlfriend doesn't have this problem, she can do it like normal through Sonos.

 

How come and how can I solve this?

I tried removing my Spotify account and adding it again afterwards. This solved the problem.
