Spotify Family Plan - Family member already has premium?

Hello!

 

My family and I are interested in starting up the Spotify Family Plan for Premium. The only problem is, my brother already paid for a year of premium, and he still has several months to go before his next yearly payment.

 

What can we do about that? If he signs up for the family plan, will he still have to pay the monthly fee? Should the rest of us sign up for the family plan until his subscription ends, then add him to the plan?

 

What's the best course of action? Any responses are appreciated.

Hey @levikcc,

 

When he joins the plan, his current subscription will be paused and it'll resume if he ever gets removed from the plan.
