Spotify Gift Card cannot redeem "Something went wrong"

My Question or Issue

Recently, I bought a 3 month gift card for Spotify Premium. When I try to redeem it, it does not work, instead it says "Something went wrong". I've seen that others have had the same issue, and I've tried it many times on different devices. Is this Spotify's problem?

Can you please let me know what's your current subscription type ?

Have you subscribed to any special offers by Spotify lately ?

Have you tried running the gift card using an incognito webpage ?

I'm currently using Spotify Free. Recently my prepaid 1 year premium subscription expired, so that's why i bought the gift card. The gift card has the same error in incognito/private
