Spotify Help!

I received a free 6 month subscription to Spotify with Rogers when I upgraded by device however I didn't activate it right away. I tried to do it with them and they have advised me that only Spotify can change that as there is a code. Can someone please contact me to let me know as I was a very happily subscribed user until 3 days ago!
