Spotify Premium Family

Spotify Premium Family

Hi!

I've signed up for the Spotify Premium Family account previously and my Spotify account is linked with my Facebook. Unfortunately, 2 of my family members did not verify the zip code previously when requested and right now, to accept the family invite, they are asked to verify the street address.

We've tried a few variations of the street address but it doesn't work. Anyone able to help?

Hey @4dtjna0e-_1va, welcome to the Spotify Community!

Keep that it's not enough to register the same address when accepting the invite as all the other users who want to join your Premium for Family plan need to live in the same physical address as you. If they live somewhere else, they won't be able to join the plan.

If the affected users do live with you, we'd like you to send them the invites one more time. We suggest that they try to accept it from a computer, using a Google Chrome incognito window. If they receive the error again, send us a screenshot.

Keep us posted.

Hi thanks for the reply!

Yes my family members reside in the same physical address. However, all of us had signed up for Spotify account using our Facebook and thus there no street address in our Spotify account. Have tried with a desktop too but it still isn't working.

Hey @4dtjna0e-_1va.

The address on Facebook or the ZIP/postal code doesn't interfere with the Family plan.

When the plan owner sends the first invite of the plan, they're prompted to enter the physical address on a form like the one on the screenshot you posted. If this address isn't validated by the other users, they're removed from the plan and won't be able to join again.

If you live together with the plan owner, you'll need to contact the Support team. Just give them a shout via Twitter or Facebook, and they'll take a closer look at the accounts to help you out.

All the best.
