Why does it say this?  If I subscribe, will it work? Or will Premium be incompatible with the app?

Just subscribe to Premium here and all Spotify Premium features will be available in every Spotify app you log in to 🙂

you will need to sign up for premium on your  web browser. after you do that just go back to the app and it should work, it is compatible once you’ve signed up. hope this helps 🙂
