Spotify Student and Gift cards

My Question or Issue

 I was gifted a Spotify gift card for Christmas and happily applied it to my account, thinking it would cover several months of my Premium Student plan. However, I was really bummed to see that doing so cut off my access to service from Hulu. Is there any way to un-apply my gift card and save it for another time so that I can enjoy Hulu while I'm still a student?
