Spotify does not accept my credit card any more

My Question or Issue

Hello, I've been using Spotify Premium for a few months and now Spotify suddenly stopped accepting my credit card and cancelled my subscription. There has never been an issue before with my card and the credit card works perfectly fine whenever I try to make other payments. I've tried 'downgrading' to the free version and getting premium again but had the same issue. Unfortunately I don't have PayPal so it would be really inconvenient for me if there is no way to accept my credit card again.
